Dude...what should i do...ask him or not!?!?!?!?

my guy friend posted a status. i sent him a link yesterday, apparently he posted it as a status, and tagged me in it saying "thanks, madeleine!" so it would show up on my wall. but none of my friends can see this status i am posted in :( and it's really cool and i want others to see. but when i go to "privacy settings" and "preview profile" not everyone can see it. how can i change this? would it be weird if i brought it up to him like...."soo why can no one see this on MY wall?"
