Blocked ear from ear infection getting so frustrated need advice?

6days ago i went to the emergency department with really bad ear pain i was told that i had an extremely bad ear infection and i was put on an iv and had antibiotics put through quite rapidly i was in hospital for 5days and was let out yesterday. I am on anti biotics at home and the pain is gone however, my ear is still completely blocked and everytime i swallow it crackles. I cant stand as i nearly p out and im getting so frustrated over it. I have tried to 'pop' my ears by blowing out this has not worked. How long will it take for my ear to become un blocked? and when will i stop being so dizzy?
