How can I get my book published?

You seem to have a pretty good idea of what book selling is all about. First you need to write the book. After that, I would suggest getting a literary agent; they make getting a publisher much more easy. Then you need to write a proposal--this includes a synopsis, a chapter of your work, a table of contents, etc. You send this off and they will probably reject you. Even the best authors get rejected a few times. Then someone will eventually accept it, uming it's written well and you send it to the right publishing agencies (look on their websites to see what they accept) and you, your agent, and your publisher will all sit down together and discuss your contract. It's not an easy process by any means.
