Iguanas for a present ....?

NOOOOO, lol. Iguanas are incredibly difficult and you would end up just buying your boyfriend a future burden. They get up to 6 feet long and require HUGE amounts of space and lots of requirements. My girlfriend got me my gecko, which is very easy to take care of and Im very glad she did it :) However, she didn't surprise me with it, she asked me before she bought it, and you should too. Remember pets require commitment and many reptiles can live well over 10 years. I suppose if you live with him it would make it easier since you could just take care of it and keep it if he wishes not too..but please don't get a iguana. Get something easy like an anole, gecko, bearded dragon or corn snake. Good luck with your decision!
