Those with post partum depression, did you take birth control (i.e., mirena) before you conceived?

i have ppd, my daughter is 3 months and a half....neway i stopped taking my anti-deppresant last week because i felt that my ppd was acting up again i was on my period too, but since then i've been off the anti. and i feel great to be honest, but they did helo me alot when i first got on them...but i feel what your saying to body is out of wack and not having reg. periods does mess you up...because before i got preg. i had my period once before i had my first baby june 1st she was 4 months premature and ped away a hr. after birth i had ic...neway all of 07 i had only one period..then i didnt get my reg. period until may of this year...so i believe that was a reason my ppd....hope all gets better for you i hate having that (ppd) its quite a serious thing....good luck
