Where is this so called free market?

the American corporations are nothing more the corporate well fare ( that would make the biggest welfare recipient blush) china companies are government run. japan and India's companies are heavily subsidized by there governments. has this free market ever existed? as far as i can tell American workers do not want free money, just a fair days pay.
