Grand marquis and taurus?

trying to buy a used car, and currently comparing 1998 mercury grand marquis LS and 2001 ford taurus. There have almost the same mileages on them which is around 70K, and the prices are also relevant, asking for 45K dollars. Currently I am still indecisive. It seems like Taurus has a little bit better in MPG, but in terms of reliability grand marquis is better. And grand marquis' riding quality is also better than than Taurus. Crack in unstressed slab?

We are having a new home built in a Houston suburb. The slab is post-tension, but has not been stressed yet (poured 8/13). Walking the house yesterday I found a crack that runs across the entire slab and is all the way down through the thickness of the slab on both sides. We called the builder and he said this is not uncharacteristic, and the crack will disappear when the cables are stressed. We went to the website of a large Houston post-tension company and found this confirmed but want to know if anyone has first-hand experience with this to reure us.

2010 Scion Tc or 2010 Ford Mustang ?

Mustang all the way! I used to have a '95 convertible GT and it was sweeeeet! I now have a '05 Scion xb and it gets good gas mileage and the insurance is less, but it's a screaming bore of a car, plus the air conditioner was crap from day one and although it was supposed to be under warrantee, Toyota/Scion refused to fix it unless we gave them $1800! Ford has never screwed us over like that, so I say go for the Mustang and you won't be sorry!

Roofing question!?

A section of my roof is over a screened in porch. The porch is on footings so I have added windows and a new door to make it a year round living space. The slope on this section of the house is less than 3/12 and there is a rolled roof on it. I heard that when the roof is less than 3/12 rolled roofing is necessary. I want to add skylights and a new roof. I am in Wisconsin. If I put down strips of ice and water shield and overlap them across the roof from the bottom up could I then possibly shingle over that.

With a tripod at hand and a remote shutter release, I have been spending my recent evenings and nights under the upen sky trying to take good photos. To those who have done night photography before, I need you honest thoughtful answer. By night photography I don't mean lighted bridges, downtown streets or anything like that. Only me, my camera and the nature, with no additional light than the moon and the stars. Say I am in the woods and I come out to a field, there is an old abandoned house, the moon shines on its facade, casting shadows to the darkened gr. I want to take a picture of it as I see it with my eyes, so it looks more like real night and less like an overexposed or underexposed parody. Then say I come to a lake and the moon is reflected upon the water surface. I have 35mm lens, 50mm lens and 100mm macro with possible extension rings. iso peaks at 25000 with 1/8000 fastest shutter.

I got a cheapish deal on Three last month and therefore got the rather old k800i, im happy with it but i like new technology so was thinking about selling the k800i and buying a N95 so thats about 40 quid for the k800 and 210 for an n95 on ebay. I've had a slight pain when chewing on my back molar. It's a twinge that occurs when I chew on anything hard, and on a scale of 1 to 10, it's probably only a 2. Still, I was worried, so I went to my dentist, who in turn sent me to an endodontist. The endodontist said that he believes that there is the beginning of a crack forming on one corner. Like I said, the pain is very minimal - I never have pain any other time, just when I chew, and it's not something that's unbearable. My question is, is it possible to repair the crack with something like bonding or composite, or does it sound like it needs a crown?

I am going to buy my little brother an amp and effects board for Christmas... I play acoustic so I have no clue what to get...he is intermediate and ambidextrous and it is ridiculous how fast he is learning, he has a Fender strat...I want to get him an amp that is better than his crappy one where every setting sounds the same, and some kind of effects board so we can make some funky trippy bad-a noises...I thinks he is heading in a more bluesy, psychedelic direction so any suggestions on some equipment would be lovely.. and of course ya know I'm broke so it can't be too expensive. For starters you have a solid team already. There isn't a whole lot of holes in your team for you to improve on. I definately feel Felix Jones will be an improvement over woodhead since the cowboys will be running the ball more now that ROMO is gone. Not to mention the Pats have been struggling this year. Rice posted great numbers last year and creeped into the top 15 fantasy WR's in everyones book. So he could be a great addition if he comes back full. However, the addition of Randy Moss could either hurt or help him significantly. If DB's focus on Moss then Rice will run wild. If not then expect Moss to steal some of his targets. Ultimately, Rice has the most upside of everyone you mentioned so I would consider him and Felix Jones to improve your team. But I say again, you have a solid team already.

I've been playing hockey on my parent's pond for a month now, shoveling the pond every time I go out. Extremely early detection of pregnancy?

I seem to have a weird thing that happens when I get pregnant and was wondering if anyone else has had the same experience. This will be my third pregnancy and with both of the previous ones (and this one too, granted I am pregnant), I know in my body very early. I am talking five to seven days past ovulation. I know medically it doesn't seem possible, but this is the third time I am crampy on day four or so and then I have a generally ill feeling on day five or so. I won't be able to test until Friday (at the earliest), but I am about 90% sure I am pregnant again (we intended to be). I also always get positives early on the pregnancy test (DPO 10). And I am not 'confused' as to what day I concieved, I always know based on my cycle and when we baby dance. Anyone have the same sense??

Crazy dream...could it mean anything? Or was it just a dream?

Ok, I dreamed that I died. And was present through the entire process. I was driving my car back home from visiting a friend, it was evening so the sun was glaring. I was approaching railroad tracks, not paying attention. The crossing gates weren't down, nor were the lights blinking with the bell ringing. And then all of a sudden this train roared in front of me, but it was too late for me to stop. I tried to swerve but plowed into the train anyway. In my dream, I could hear the metal twisting, the gl breaking, the train's brakes screeching. In past dreams, I've "felt" pain, but I didn't feel any as I plowed right through this train, yet I knew I was dying, and I saw the darkness creep over my vision as I died. The next thing I saw were rescuers pulling my mangled body from the wreckage, and the damage it had done to my face. I had numerous holes in my head, including a large one on the bridge of my nose, and the left half of my jaw was just...gone.

How do I forgive and forget when I hold so much resentment?

I have been with my husband for almost 10yrs. We have 3 gorgeous daughters and a stable life. He use to drink a lot and actually just recently stopped. Once from his sons mom saying she was at his job and where is she suppose to meet him(he later told me he met up with her to give her money for his son-I believe this to be true) the other message was from a girl asking him when they were going christmas shopping. There was a couple from her. I confronted him in sever anger he told me she said she felt bad for doing this. He has never went any further then that, he said they were old friends, she is horrible ugly, and they only drank and played bball. I can't believe any of it. I hold such horrible resentment. How could he do this to me while I was at home caring for his children. He said he did it because we weren't getting along. I told him that was an excuse. I just don't know what to do. I bought the chrome add on pieces and they came with 3M adhesive tape already on them, well they didn't stick very well and I decided that I would super glue them. Guinea Pig lost weight?

My guinea pig is almost a year and is a very picky eater. So much to the fact he won't touch greens, and barely finishes carrots. We feed him Timothy Hay in the meantime. I was bored and poked my head into his cage and when I was maging his back I noticed I could feel his shoulder blades. I freaked! He gets fed two large bowls of pellets a day...he drinks a lot of water...a lot! and his poops arent' hard because he won't eat ruffage! WHat can I try to get this pig to eat to plump him up???...I've tried Parsley, lettuce, spinach leaves, I even bought him gourmet salad bags, he won't eat broccoli, apples he munches on but they just rot in his cage, doesn't touch any other fruit...what do I do????

I have sent a PDF image of a logo and type to be printed at a print shop. We are getting it printed so that the adhesive is on the front so that the poster can be put in the window and can be seen from the outside. He has emailed me back saying that the text is in vector format, but the logo isn't. He asked me to send him the logo in vector, otherwise he'll do it for $45. I don't understand the reasoning behind needing it in vector format to print!? I've already sized the logo and text, the doent is sized properly to the print size, and the resolution is 300dpi. I don't really know much about vector, but I was under the impression it was just used for making things larger without losing quality (like changing text size).. The area I hunt is filled with the same terrain hardwoods with some areas are thicker then others and some have some pines in them. In the woods the only water source are dirty ditches which have collected water and there aren't to many. But there is a cleaner stream that is rather large about 3/4 mile through the woods. I have always hunted the woods where I see tracks that cross dirt trails. Well I have had a idea that maybe I should hunt the water hole. but how often do deer drink and when? Employee absences- what is your policy?

I own a small company of just 6 employees. I give generous benefits (in my opinion). One employee has 128 hours of paid time off. That equates to 3 weeks paid off, 6 paid holidays off and 8 additional hours off. The employee works at a high wage for our area and also can earn bonus (some have gotten $1k but not consistantly). This particular employee misses a lot of work- this year already 114 hours. Is this malpractise or neglect on the doctors part that did my surgery?

in june 2009 i had abdominal hysterectomy cause the doctor (was unaware that my bladder and uterus was connected together due to scar tissue) she cut my bladder twice before the surgery i asked her to remove my ovarys cuz i kept getting cyst's every 3 months, well she did not remove them but removed the cyst's in september had ultrasound cuz they came back (exacly 3 months later) so had the belly on surgery on 10/06/09 she said she could not remove them due to extensive ahesions mostly on left ovary and tube bowels and intestines she said i'd need another open surgery vertical cut so i had it done 11/03/09 when i woke up i was informed that only my right ovary and tube was removed and adhesions on my bladder was removed cuz she said she did not feel it was safe to remove the left ovary and tube she could not find it and did not want to hunt for it cuz it would cause more damages, i feel if she would of removed the ovarys during the hysterectomy like i asked i would of had to have 2 other surgerys and be stuck with an ovary and tube that still has a cyst on it (simple cyst) and i am still in pain, so is it neglect on her part for not removing the ovarys( due to reacurring cyst ) when asked and she kept having me go in for surgerys this last surgery i am had complications my body is rejecting the dissolvable stitches i keep get puss bags under the skin that breaks open and leaks and cause a whole in my incision site and part of is still open but closeing slowly and i still get some clear fluid that leaks once in awhile and painful. i also might need surgerys later to remove the left ovary/tube which will most likely damage my bowels and i have severe adhesions if she would of removed them in june i would not be faceing this now.

6days ago i went to the emergency department with really bad ear pain i was told that i had an extremely bad ear infection and i was put on an iv and had antibiotics put through quite rapidly i was in hospital for 5days and was let out yesterday. I am on anti biotics at home and the pain is gone however, my ear is still completely blocked and everytime i swallow it crackles. I cant stand as i nearly p out and im getting so frustrated over it. I have tried to 'pop' my ears by blowing out this has not worked. How long will it take for my ear to become un blocked? and when will i stop being so dizzy?

The father of my son wants to attend one of my sons doctors appointments. My son is 6 months old and up until this point his dad has not been too involved. We have joint custody but I am his primary guardian. His dad gets him for a total of about 12 hours a week. have had horrible stomach cramping and pain whenever I have taken codeine. So bad that I was literally on the floor crying with the pain. I couldn't sit or stand I felt like I was going to die. I looked up side effects and nothing mentions what happens to me. The first time it happened was after my gall bladder surgery. I though it was constipation and drank a bottle of prune juice. Boy was that a mistake. :) And the next time was after I had my wisdom teeth pulled. It was worse the second time. Its weird bc I have taken it previous to the surgery and nothing bad happened. Nothing as bad a cactus lol but the last time I fell off, it was about 2 years ago, my horse decided he wanted me off and bronked the full length of the paddock, head between his legs. I kind of fell onto his neck but managed to pull myself back into the saddle to avoid a puddle, then he took off again, straight towards a fence, stopped dead and bucked, head between his legs again, and sent me flying into the fence. I hit it with my arms and face, and then flipped over it and landed on a concrete floor! I had scs all down my arms and my nose and mouth were bleeding very badly. Ironic that I hung on to avoid a puddle but ended up on a concrete floor.

NOOOOO, lol. Iguanas are incredibly difficult and you would end up just buying your boyfriend a future burden. They get up to 6 feet long and require HUGE amounts of space and lots of requirements. My girlfriend got me my gecko, which is very easy to take care of and Im very glad she did it :) However, she didn't surprise me with it, she asked me before she bought it, and you should too. Remember pets require commitment and many reptiles can live well over 10 years. I suppose if you live with him it would make it easier since you could just take care of it and keep it if he wishes not too..but please don't get a iguana. Get something easy like an anole, gecko, bearded dragon or corn snake. Good luck with your decision!

Repair dry rotted garage studs?

I have a 22' x 22' detatched garage that is on a slab which over the years has sunk below the grade of the yard. About 75% of the framing studs have dry rotted. I want to repair it by cutting out the dry rotted studs and sistering them. I want to put a lip on the cement pad, so that water doesn't seep into the garage any more. Should I put a cinder block lip or just use treated 2x6's or 2x8's for the lip? Also, what would it cost, approx., to level the floor? It was never cut after it was poured, so it crackd down the middle and has about a 2" difference?
